Featured Employee of the Month October 2024

Meet Ashley Melton, Traditions' Featured Employee of the Month! Ashley was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio's state capital and home to Ohio State University, one of the largest college campuses in the country.  

Ashley is a home health aide for Traditions of Columbus. Although she has held this position for only four (4) months, she has had a significant impact on the residents and the community's culture.

"When I'm not working, I love spending time with my husband, Ethan, and our two beautiful daughters, Wavery (3) and Zonna 15 months). We enjoy attending church events as a family. I also have a great time thrifting!"

When asked what the best part of her day at Traditions of Columbus is, Ashley said, "I love the connections I make with our residents. The senior community is very special."

"I especially love making memories on Columbus' theme days. We recently had a Western Day; we had a great time wearing cowgirl hats and fake mustaches! But I think my favorite thing is when family members go out of their way to say, 'Thank you.' It's incredibly meaningful!"
